Patty Jarrell
As Director of Fitness at Troon Country Club, Patty strives to motivate our members by developing an exercise regimen they can adhere to, be challenged and feel good about. Her personal training sessions include a unique protocol based on Patty’s diverse experience. Patty also enjoys teaching a variety of group fitness classes. Currently, she teaches the Monday and Wednesday morning strength training classes, and the Friday bar-fusion class. She also teaches golf stretch classes and workshops seasonally to help our golfers reach their potential through improved sports-specific strength and flexibility.

 Patty holds a degree in Exercise Science from Arizona State University. She is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Weight Management Specialist with the American Council on Exercise. She is a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified Golf-Fitness Instructor, as well as a Gold Certified Kickboxing instructor through the Turbo Kick Training Program. Patty has trained with Balance Body University for both mat and reformer Pilates and has been studying yoga for over 15 years. She combines these mind-body components to offer a multi-dimensional fitness and wellness program to the members at Troon.

KJ Jarrell
KJ has been involved in developing the Troon fitness program with Patty since 1992. He is very encouraging to our members as they work to improve their health and fitness. He believes that although it's important to stay focused, it's also possible to have fun while working towards your fitness goals. KJ studied business at Arizona State University and played football at the collegiate and professional levels so he has a personal understanding of what it takes to excel at your sport.

He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) and a Certified TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Golf-fitness Instructor. KJ has extensive study in golf conditioning, older adult fitness, and flexibility training. As an amateur golfer himself, KJ has a hands-on understanding of what muscles are involved in the game. This enables him to use an effective strength and flexibility program with his clients. KJ currently teaches TRX classes, Golf-Conditioning, Foam roller stretch and Circuit training, as well as working with members individually to help them set and achieve their goals.
